Missed us at the show? Hard-working concrete still deserves a protection plan. Discover the system with ProGuard Solutions Co.
Concrete looks solid. Inside, it has microscopic pores. Treat them with PIM+ or PIM+ Type S, then protect the surface with PTS+.

Start with the surface and what it faces every day. Bring your concrete questions to ProGuard.
Water and salts can travel through concrete’s pores. Protecting it starts within.
DynaCrete pairs a permanent internal treatment with an easy-clean surface finish. One protects within the concrete. The other helps you deal with what lands on it.
Choose PIM+ or PIM+ Type S. You do not need both.

Travels farther into the pores to form a permanent internal seal. Choose Type S when your project calls for deeper penetration.

Internal protection does not make concrete stain-proof. PTS+ adds a clear, non-glossy surface finish that helps liquids bead on top and makes everyday spills easier to clean.
Pore sizes, treatment colours and depths are exaggerated to explain the process. Published penetration: PIM+ up to 2 mm (technical data sheet); PIM+ Type S 6 mm or more (product page). Actual penetration depends on the concrete and application. PTS+ is shown as a surface topcoat; the blue tint is illustrative.
Repair visible cracks and remove anything that prevents absorption. Confirm the surface is suitable with a small test area.
Apply PIM+ or Type S as directed. Allow at least three days for the internal treatment to cure before PTS+.
Apply PTS+ to a cool, dry surface, following its instructions. Plan access around the specified drying and curing times.
A good result starts with the right product and the right preparation. Here is what to know before you begin.
Ask about your projectNo. Choose PIM+ or PIM+ Type S for the internal treatment, then finish with PTS+ after curing. PIM+ and Type S are alternatives, not two coats to apply one after the other.
The products are described as leaving a clear, non-glossy finish. PTS+ is intended to preserve the existing colour and texture. Test a small, inconspicuous area first, especially on decorative surfaces. The purple, yellow and blue in the illustration explain the treatments; they are not the finished colours.
The internal treatment needs clean, permeable concrete it can absorb into. Existing sealers, paint, oil or other contamination can prevent that. Tell us what is already on the surface so we can help you identify the preparation required before treatment.
Visible cracks need to be repaired before treatment. PIM+ and Type S provide internal protection, but are not stain blockers. PTS+ adds surface protection and easier cleaning; spills should still be cleaned promptly. The system does not replace concrete repairs.
Allow at least three days for PIM+ or Type S to cure before applying PTS+. The PTS+ technical sheet lists two hours to air-dry and 24 hours to cure, with no foot traffic until it is air-dry. Follow the full application instructions for your surface and site conditions.
PIM+ can be used to prime concrete before compatible paint, flooring or other coatings. If another finish is planned, confirm the complete sequence and compatibility before adding PTS+. The right preparation depends on both the concrete and the finish you intend to use.
PIM+ and Type S are designed to form a permanent internal silicate/glass seal when correctly applied. The PTS+ surface finish has a different role and is exposed to wear. Ask about maintenance for your conditions; do not simply apply PTS+ over a dried coat, as its application guidance warns against this.
Coverage depends on the porosity of the concrete, so a small test area is the best starting point for quantities. Share the area to be treated, the condition of the concrete, any existing coating and its exposure to water, traffic or chemicals. We can help confirm product selection and quantities, and connect you with a distributor for pricing.
